      Certified Nurse/Program Assistant: Part-time/PRN positions at Milton Adult Day Services.       Administrative Accounts Specialist - This part-time, position is responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable system and performs a number of administrative and information tasks to insure correct Agency reports, payroll backup, accounting, and employee benefits.

      Kitchen Coordinator - Full-time - South Bend - This salaried position is responsible supervising kitchen staff, over seeing meal preparation, purchasing and delivery operations for the Congregate, Meals on Wheels and Catering programs. Coordinator will assist in meal preparation on the hot and cold side and cover for all staff as needed. Coordinator will train all staff in meal preparation, is responsible for creating standardized recipes for the staff to follow. Coordinator is responsible for making sure all diets are prepared according to guidelines, menus and recipes. Coordinator will assist in employee evaluations working with the Director.

      Nutrition Site Director for Older Adults - Mishawaka, IN

      REAL Services has the responsibility of planning, developing, implementing and administering a network of services that are of high standards, are known, available and used by older adults and low income households in north central Indiana (Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall and St. Joseph Counties).

      The Part-time Nutrition Site Director is responsible for running the 100 Center nutrition site (Mishawaka) serving older adults a hot noontime meal. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Experience working with the elderly is helpful, but not required.  No nights or weekends are required. You do not work on holidays, but you do earn pay for the holiday. You also earn paid vacation and sick time, YOUR lunch is included, and you can participate in the dental insurance and the pre-tax 403(b) retirement savings plan. You will receive mileage reimbursement for using your vehicle for agency-related driving. Pay starting at $7.75 per hour. This is a great opportunity for someone desiring working a fixed day-time schedule a few hours each day like a parent with school aged children and/or the semi-retired. You can make a difference in the lives of older adults and can earn a paycheck with some benefits doing it.

      You must possess good problem solving and people skills. You must be able to work independently, and maintain a strong working relationship with staff, volunteers and host agent. You must be able to recruit and train volunteers in assisting with daily activities of the nutrition site. Must be able to accurately complete paperwork to keep track of clients attendance and to accurately forecast the next day’s meal count. Food handling and organization skills are a plus.

      You must have a valid Driver's License as limited weekly driving is required, a good driving record, a dependable vehicle, and must meet agency required insurance coverage on the vehicle.  We will check your driving record with the BMV.

      Part-time Transportation Driver

      REAL Services has the responsibility of planning, developing, implementing and administering a network of services that are of high standards, are known, available and used by older adults and low income households in north central Indiana (Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall and St. Joseph Counties).

      The Part-time Transportation Driver is responsible for providing transportation for older adults (who have no other means) to necessary appointments or for errand purposes.  Experience working with the elderly is helpful, but not required. You must be available 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Average weekly hours are less than 30. You do NOT work on holidays, but you do earn pay for the holiday. You also do NOT work nights or weekends, but you do earn paid vacation and sick time and you can participate in the pre-tax 403(b) retirement savings as well as dental insurance plans. Pay starts at $8.19 per hour. The job is very rewarding, is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older adults, and you can earn a paycheck and some benefits doing it.

      You must be able to stand or walk to assist clients. Regular travel is required to assist with transporting of clients within the St. Joseph County service area. You must be able to adapt to the different needs of each client, display patience and respect, help clients in and out of vehicle, assist a client with transportation to and from doctor's appointments, purchase of groceries, perform errands or shopping for clients when they are unable to go, or other assistance with medical items as needed. You may be transporting more than one client at a time and often must balance getting one client home while making sure to get other clients to their appointments on time; therefore time management is very important.
      You must possess good driving skills, knowledge of streets in the service area, and ability to work with older adults who may have illnesses or special needs in a sympathetic and patient manner is necessary.

      You must have a valid Chauffeur's License, a good driving record, thorough knowledge of state driving laws, a dependable vehicle, and must meet agency required insurance coverage on the vehicle. Your mileage will be reimbursed because you will be driving your vehicle daily. We will check your driving record with the BMV.
